Heron Books is a research and development team that publishes cutting-edge K-12 educational materials for the Delphian School in Oregon. Its purpose is to create a high-quality curriculum for the Delphi Program®.
Over time, the curriculum's popularity grew. Today, selections of the Delphi Program curriculum are available for use as supplementary resources for schools, homeschoolers, teachers, tutors, parents, guardians, children, teens, and businesses around the world.
In a simple and friendly way, this book fills in phonics basics that may have been missed by students 4th grade and up. Five short learning guides take the student through parts of the book, providing step-by-step activities and opportunities for practice. The first three courses include the use of Heron Spelling Learning to Spell drill cards (included).
These courses are designed as an undercut to the main Heron Spelling lineup for use as needed. The Heron Spelling Teacher Manual (sold separately) provides diagnostic tests for this purpose.
