This comprehensive glossary covers the history, geography and foreign languages as represented in The Long Walk by Slavomir Rawicz. There are over 240 entries including English and Russian words, slang, political and historical terms, and geographical terms that can't commonly be found in a dictionary at this level. To accommodate the different editions of The Long Walk, words are listed by chapter in the order they appear in the book with an alphabetical index in the back. Also included is a brief essay regarding Communism to assist readers in understanding the context of 20th century Soviet Russia and its Siberian labor camps.
